Food and Drink Devon People's Choice Best Hospitality Venue 25/26

We are delighted to announce that were awarded The People's Choice Best Hospitality Venue Award by Food and Drink Devon in 2025.

Additionally, the Hotel was also awarded a Silver Award for Dining.

The Award is made to the entire Hotel team and was collected on behalf of the team by Head Chef, Edgar Rodrigues and Operations Manager, Clare Lacey-Taylor.

This year, for the first time, we handed the judging of an award over to you, our community of food and drink lovers. You voted in your thousands and we're delighted to announce that the inaugural winner of the People's Choice Hospitatlity Award is The Cottage Hotel in Hope Cove.

The family-run Cottage Hotel describes itself as "quirky and traditional, it provides guests with simple accommodation, good honest food, a friendly welcome and old fashioned service, reminiscent of bygone times".
