Hope Cove's Favourite Restaurant

Just a stone's throw from the beach and a short walk up the coastal gardens is the Cottage Hotel's restaurant. Thanks to the fabulous expansive views of Hope Cove and beyond, the hotel is a firm favourite with diners all year but particularly in the summer.

We offer a relaxed atmosphere in which family and friends are welcomed by our charming but traditional approach reminiscent of a bygone era in one of the UK's finest coastal locations.

If you visit Hope Cove, it is not complete without a visit to The Cottage Hotel especially for a delicious Sunday Lunch.

The Terrace

Our main restaurant is indoors with large wide windows that showcase the stunning sea views afforded by the hotel's location. However, our dining terrace fronts the hotel and is easily accessed from the restaurant in the summer through a door near the restaurant entrance.

Diners are welcome to take lunch on the terrace where we have tables, chairs and parasols for your comfort. When the weather is fine the views truly are irresistible and offer a particularly nice way to enjoy Sunday lunch and a drink outdoors.

Seafood Sundays

If roast potatoes and beef with Yorkshire pudding isn't quite to your taste, we also offer our sister restaurant the Lobster Pod which offers a wide range of delicious seafood dishes including Lobster. The Lobster Pod restaurant is in the hotel's garden and is open all summer for brunch, lunch and dinner.

When the weather is good it is advisable to book in advance.
