Above prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of Room, Continental and Hot Devon Buffet breakfast, 5 course alternating Table D’hôte Dinner and VAT. Tariff rates are based upon two people sharing (singles excluded). Prices exclude Easter, Christmas and the New Year and all Festival Dates. Single Occupancy

Single occupancy (s/o) travellers are very welcome at The Cottage Hotel and will receive a nightly percentage reduction from the published Tariff on Double rooms grades. A 35% reduction will apply to the published double rate.

• 2 and under: Free of Charge (travel cots can be hired for use in specific rooms, at £5prpn – bring your own child bedding)
• 3-12 years: £35 daily supplement per child (inc. Breakfast and High Tea) OR £55 daily supplement with smaller portions from our alternating Table D’hôte Dinner Menu.

An additional nightly charge of £99 per person will apply for each extra adult/teenager sharing a double room.

Dining at The Cottage

Enjoy Breakfast, Lunch and our alternating Table D’hôte Dinner using honest home prepared food by our talented kitchen brigade, led by Edgar Rodrigues. Bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs are welcome in some of our guest bedrooms (excluding Premier Balcony). Charges of £15.00 per dog, per night are payable (excluding food). Dogs must always be accompanied and are not allowed within the Restaurant and Bar but most welcome in the Snug and Guest Lounge. (Assistance dogs are excluded from these terms naturally).

Reservations

We gladly accept reservations made by telephone, email or via our website using our online booking system. A non-refundable Deposit will be taken in the amount of the first nights’ accommodation. Deposits may be held by the Hotel, to be credited against another stay within six months of the cancellation date.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms are individually styled and differ from one to another in terms of shape and size. We invite you to view our full selection of bedrooms online at www.hopecove.com . All bedrooms come with private ensuite facilities, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, remote control LCD television with radio, beverage making facilities and free wireless internet. Some of our rooms can accommodate extra beds, please ask us for more details.

PREMIER BALCONY ROOMS (DOUBLE/TWIN) SEA-VIEW

Our Premier Double/Twin bedrooms are quite spacious and very comfortable, just perfect for a special treat. Each of our bedrooms are beautifully appointed and individually styled. They include a Super king zip/lock bed, lounge seating and in room dining chairs. Refrigerator with complimentary arrival water and arrival fruit bowl, large ceiling fan, 50inch smart tv together with large private balcony with sea views, comfortable patio seating and sun loungers. The ensuite bathroom includes double pedestal wash basins, spacious step in deluge and power shower, with separate bath and W.C. Complimentary robes and slippers are also provided for your comfort. These rooms benefit from an additional day bed, which (subject to supplementary tariffs) can accommodate one extra adult or two children.

LARGE STANDARD BALCONY ROOMS (DOUBLE/TWIN) SEA VIEW

Attractive accommodation with ample space which include a Super king zip/lock bed, lounge seating and a cosy balcony with sea views. The ensuite bathroom includes wash basin, W.C. and shower over bath.

STANDARD BALCONY ROOMS (DOUBLE) SEAVIEW

Housed in the original wings of the Cottage Hotel, these rooms are small and shaped differently with a 5ft double, cosy en-suite shower orbathrooms & cosy balcony with sea views.

COTTAGE DOUBLE ROOMS (SEAVIEW)

Housed in the original wings of the Cottage Hotel, these rooms are cosy and shaped differently with 5ft double beds, smaller en-suite shower or bath rooms and sea views.

BUDGET BACK-FACING DOUBLE OR TWIN BEDROOMS (NO VIEW)

Housed in the original wing of the Cottage Hotel, these rooms are quite small, but do suit guests who are seeking budget style accommodation. Some are double (4ft. 6in. double beds) and some are twin. Budget back-facing rooms have small ensuite shower rooms. There are no views as the rooms face the back of the hotel. Rooms are priced sensibly to take account of kitchen extract fan noise (Note: this extractor is switched off at 10pm each night). There are two single rooms available in this category. Fire Safety

The Hotel is equipped with fire detection and alarms. Please make yourself aware of the fire escape route and full fire emergency procedures, which are displayed in your room and Guest compendiums.

Smoking

The Cottage Hotel operates a strict No Smoking Policy throughout the bedrooms, all public areas, Restaurant and Lounge. Guests are welcome to smoke at designated outside smoking areas.

Arrival and Departure

Free on-site parking is available at the Cottage Hotel. The Hotel does not accept responsibility for damage/theft of vehicles/their contents whilst parked on site.

Bedrooms are not normally available until 3pm; however, an early check in may be possible upon request and subject to an early check in charge of £20.00.

We respectfully request that Bedrooms be vacated by 11.00am on departure day.

Car Parking & Electric Vehicle (EV) Charge points

Free on-site parking is available at the Cottage Hotel. The Hotel does not accept responsibility for damage/theft of vehicles/their contents whilst parked on site. Our car park is split over three levels as the Hotel is built on the cliffside overlooking Hope Cove.

Electric Vehicle Charge points are available to use and are based at the upper-level car park.

The charging rate is approximately 70p per kWh and you only pay for the energy used, there are no other fees. Please note there is a payment card pre-authorisation amount of £45 which is credited back to your bank card after the session is finished (times will vary, dependent on your bank).

1. Plug your cable into your car and charger.
2. Tap the highlighted socket which comes up on the screen.
3. Tap the 'swipe credit card' symbol on screen.
4. Present your bank card to the yellow circular payment terminal under the screen then it will start. Press stop to finish.

Valuables

The Hotel is not responsible for articles of value, other than those deposited with Reception for safe custody in the Hotel safe, for which a receipt will be given.

Cancellations

All cancellations should be received by the Hotel in writing. Deposits are non-refundable. If you are cancelling within 30 days, prior to arrival, your nonrefundable deposit will be forfeited. However, at the managers discretion, your deposit may be held by the Hotel, to be credited against another stay within six months of the cancellation date. Guests are invited to consider an independent holiday insurance scheme such as www.allcleartravel.co.uk (for example).

Payment

Accounts are to be settled upon departure.  All major credit and debit cards are accepted (excluding Amex and Diners Club). Deposit cheques are accepted providing they are submitted one month prior to the reservation start. The Hotel reserves the right to ask for alternative payment or further identification.
