This is thousand-year-old farm that consists of five hundred acres owned by the Sharpham trust. The house was designed in 1170 by Sir Robert Taylor. Today, the farm produces world class wines and cheese.

It is situated on the banks of the River Dart near Totnes in South Devon. For over twenty years, the farm has been producing wines and unpasteurised cheeses. It is open every day and there is a guided tour around the vineyard explaining the history and principles behind growing grapes. Then you can enjoy the scenic river walk where you can see the wide variety of wildlife that live on the River Dart. You will have a full explanation of the winemaking process, wine tasting. And at the end you will be offered a light lunch comprising local bread, Sharpham cheese and locally-grown salads.
